Elder Silas Ford
Elder Silas Ford has been the pastor of Bethany Primitive Baptist Church since October 2015. Originally from Alabama, Elder Ford moved to the Atlanta metropolitan area from Crestview, Florida. He and his wife, Tara, have been married for twenty years, and have two children, Jolee and Brennan. Pastor Silas was ordained at Macclenny Primitive Baptist Church in July, 2011 and has served as pastor of Piedmont Primitive Baptist (Calvary, GA) and Palm Chapel Primitive Baptist (Crestview, FL) prior to serving Bethany Church.
He is a spiritual leader and friend to every member of the church, and is a loving, selfless man who devotes his life to the gospel. He has a fun personality and is a die hard Alabama football fan. Elder Ford is also a board member at Harmony Highlands Singing School, an a capella music camp that emphasizes honoring God in all things. Elder Ford also travels regularly to western Kenya, in conjunction with Sweetwater Outreach, an organization dedicated to helping provide clean water in third world countries, where he helps serve the churches and ministry in and around Kisii County. In addition to his service of Bethany Church, Pastor Silas teaches religion at Fideles Christian School in Cumming, GA.
